GOOD RIDDANCE, the legendary pioneers of melodic hardcore, are set to release Capricorn One on July 6th. In between putting out many acclaimed full-length albums, GOOD RIDDANCE kept themselves busy releasing a bevy of material via 7" singles. Capricorn One is a comprehensive collection of all these singles, as well as 6 previously unreleased tracks and other rarities. Preorder it by clicking on the album cover below:
The Real McKenzies, Shine Not Burn
This new acoustic 21 song full length from The Real McKenzies packs a powerful intimate punch. Shine Not Burn was recorded in August 2009 at Wild at Heart in Kreuzberg, Berlin and explores all the beauty of Scottish folk music at its best. Perhaps best known for their Scottish punk flare of dancing, drinking and playing their hearts out until the wee hours of the morning; this release shows their softer, more intimate and introspective side, while not losing any of their passion.
Brand New Lungs is a taste of what to expect off their upcoming fall full-length and the 7â is classic Utters! Brand New Lungs features two songs from their upcoming fall release and one exclusive to the 7â. Weâve pressed this 7â in two different colors, one you can grab from our mail order, the other will be available exclusively at the Swinginâ Utters shows. Take a peek at their Warped Tour dates, and recently announced U.S and European tour!
As most of you know, four days ago Fat Mike set up his own twitter account. Well, it took him all of two days to scoop us on a news story, post some incomplete artwork for an upcoming NOFX release, and set off various threads of misinformation in the blogosphere⦠talk about your classic backfire. So, now is probably a good time for us to step in and give you the straight dope.
On August 17th weâll be releasing *NOFX*âs The Longest EP, a collection of 30 EP tracks from 1987 to 2009, plus rarities, out of print stuff and previously unreleased outtakes. Instead of paying like $30 for the 5 EPâs, you can get em all on one CD for $10. You can scope the final artwork (including Melvin this time) below, which happens to be by the same dude that illustrated the cover of The Longest Line. In conjunction with this release the other EPâs will be going out of print. One other tidbit, the double lp will be a limited pressing! Get the original CDâs while you still canâ¦

So thereâs this guy, Fat_Mike, whoâs been pretending to be me on Tweeter for several months now. I didnât really pay attention cuz Iâm not on any of the other social networks and I figured what harm could it do? Well apparently a lot cuz now this douche has 6000 followers and heâs a total prick. I donât like someone going around making my bad name even worse. I get in enough trouble with the actual things I say. I donât need any more help, thanks. So Iâve decided to actually start twitting on my own. This is totally retarded, but I gotta fight fire withâ¦â¦.well, drugs and alcohol. Here I go into the wild world of no privacy and way too much information. It starts here with my first twat:
My Tweeter name is FatMike_of_NOFX and Iâm an alcoholic
