Los Angeles, CA â After recently debuting the first track (âBlack Crossesâ) off Agents Of The Underground on Spin.com, STRUNG OUT is proud to announce that fans can stream the long-awaited, seventh studio album exclusively on the bandâs newly-redesigned MySpace today. Exempt from the page is the first single, âVanity,â which can be streamed exclusively at Revolver Magazineâs website. Click here to pre-order your copy right now!
On the cusp of kicking off a headlining US tour on October 1st in San Antonio, TX, Strung Out are excited to bring Agents Of The Underground to fans across the country, as well as to fans in Costa Rica and Japan (see all tour dates below). âWe are really pumped up about the release of this album and I think all our fans, old and new will be impressed,â says Strung Out drummer Jordan Burns. âWe’re looking forward to playing these songs live and getting back into tour mode. It will be our second time playing Costa Rica and of course Japan is going to be amazing as well. Can’t wait!â
Agents Of The Underground was produced by Cameron Webb (Motorhead, Social Distortion, Ignite) and is âthe culmination of everything weâve done,â says vocalist Jason Cruz. Filled with the bandâs signature sound which blends the technicality and musicianship of metal with punkâs fury, SPIN says âAgents of the Underground has all the double-time drums and big choruses and devilâs-horns-worthy guitar leads you could ask for from a bunch of fellas whoâve been at this longer than some of their contemporaries have been alive,â while ALTERNATIVE PRESS comments âblazing, guitar harmony-driven tracks like ‘Heart Attack’ sound like Bad Religion covering Iron Maiden, while breakdown-dominated tracks like ‘Dead Spaces’ finally see the band writing music that’s heavy without being heavy-handed.â
