You wanna talk about comebacks? Move over George Foreman. Uh, nice try Mickey Rourke. We’ve got a real comeback for you. That’s right folks, after an 8 year hiatus we are resurrecting our famous FAT MUSIC comp series. Much like the prodigal son (minus the whole moral parable garbage), our renowned comp series has returned. How has the blessed event come to be, you ask? Well, so much has transpired over the past 8 years, with a bevy of new acts being ushered into the Fat fold(s), that it seemed appropriate to bring back the FAT MUSIC tradition. The result is the 7th installment of the series, Harder, Fatter + Louder! The album consists of 22 tracks that run the gamut from some of our newest upstart bands like Old Man Markley, Banner Pilot, TBR, Cobra Skulls, and The Flatliners, to some of our established heavy hitters including NOFX, Against Me!, NUFAN, Strung Out, and The LawrenceArms. The comp includes 5 as yet unreleased tracks, filled out by recently released hits from all the label favorites. The comp will be available on CD, digitally and on double LP with color available while supplies last so stay tuned for our pre-order announcement. NOFX to release split 7” with… The Spits?!?! Yep, The fucking Spits! We got 2 new songs from each band on a limited edition 7”, out November 23rd.

As the quintessential band of the pop-punk genre, SCREECHING WEASEL possess a sound and style as recognizable as that of the Ramones, Sex Pistols, or even The Clash. Weâve been retooling Television City Dream with Ben Weasel to give the original release a total face lift. The album is getting a full makeover: re-mix, re-mastering, and updated art. Most intriguing is that there were 5 songs from the TVCD session that were not included with the original release, but they are now back where they belong, re-sequenced into a 20-song opus and set to be re-released on November 9th, 2010. Check out what Ben Weasel had to say about the release below:
“The album sounds great now, like it was supposed to. I love the new art. The record never got its due, in part because it didn’t sound right. I always felt it was an underrated record”
