Here’s the thing: we’d like to claim we’re eager to shove 2016 in the rearview mirror, but that would be an untruth. 2017, politically, seems chilling, if not downright menacing, under the incoming U.S. administration. Every day when a new cabinet position is filled, our hearts sink a little lower. One thing we can promise is that we will not be complacent. Complacency has no business in punk rock, or music in general. Hence, 2017: we will greet you fiercely and look to bring positive change in any way we can. Thanks to all who’ve purchased one of our Not My President t-shirts. We will be donating funds to various organizations who’ll be in real need of financial assistance, and we will keep you apprised along the way. We want to give a big thanks to all who’ve supported us and our bands in 2016; we couldn’t do any of this without you. Finally, our office is closed for 2016, so any orders placed won’t ship until the new year. We’ll be back in 2017 with a full year of great new records! Before we go, the FAT staff put together a list of their top five albums of 2016 (not including FAT artists) which resonated with us in some way or another. Check them out below, and have a great holiday. – Love, FAT.
